 It's more than Biography Nael George Marar, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren (Male and female) and in their own words-What's Al' Uzaizat Modern History all about! Nael George Marar: Electrical Engineer B.Sc, and Chartered Electrical Engineer M.I.E.E. I have done electromechnical contracting works in many countries. Some of the contracts were in the Atomic Reactor-Iraq, Paper Plant-Iraq, Fine Textile 3300 looms Factory-Iraq, Feritlizer Plant with Mitsubishi-Iraq, Hundreds of KM of Transmission 220KV lines - Iraq, Many Electrical Power Stations in Saudi, Partner, designer, of the Steel Fabrication Plant in Saudi about 60 000 sq meter, Generators Factories and control switchgear factories in the UK, Pumps factory in N.Y USA, hundreds of installation of cold stores all over the Middle East and had offices in London, Beirut and many other countries. Retired in 1992 and have homes in Marbella Spain and in the UK. I was married twice, to Kathy Conway in 1963 and we had three children Ziyad, Jayne and Leith when we lived in Baghdad, Iraq. In 1972 we moved to Beirut and in 1976 we moved to the UK. I met my present wife Angela Hopkins in 1966 in Baghdad, Iraq and we were married in Gibraltar in 2003. Angela and Kathy are friendly and meet frequently for family functions. Kathy and Angela are both Irish. My hobies are debating serious subjects, , bridge,Opera and the computer.
1. Ziyad Nael George Marar:
B.Sc and MA from Exeter and London. Born 1966. He is Vice President of Sage Publication with about 700 emlpoyees in the UK and L.A. in the USA. Very succesful, likes classical music and plays the oboe. His Wife Kate Buchannan is garduate from Oxford University and a very admired lawyer and a Partner with Farrer Silicitors who are the queen's solicitors in the UK. he published his first book "Happines is a Paradox"in 2004 and his second book "Deception" in 2008. He is working on his third book "Intimacy". All available on Amazon. Ziyad have three daughters, Anna was born 1999, and a twin girls Charlotte and Eleanor who were born in 2002. They live in London. Ziyad Marar was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1966. He lived in the Middle East until the age of 10 before moving to London where he still lives. He has worked as Editorial Director at Sage Publications for the last decade. He holds a BSc in psychology (Exeter University), an MA in the philosophy and psychology of language, and did several years of post-graduate research in this field (London University). His recent book The Happiness Paradox reflects his interest in the way philosophy and psychology can contribute to a better understanding of modern identity. Tutors: Ziyad Marar (writer, philosopher and psychologist) Ziyad is interested in how philosophy and psychology can contribute to a better understanding of modern identity. He will lead discussion groups that feed into Memoir Writing, encouraging people to examine the complexities and ambiguities of modern life. His first book was ‘The Happiness Paradox’, his second ‘Deception’. His next book will be on intimacy. He ran discussion groups on Ways With Words courses in Italy which were hugely popular and great fun. From 10am - 5pm each day the writing workshops, talks, discussion groups on memoirs and memoir writing - and long, lavish lunches - will take place in the comfort and tranquility of our farmhouse in the north Dordogne area.

3. Leith Nael George Marar 1968 After leaving the school in Surrey England I studied for A levels (Match Physics and Chemistry) in at College in Croydon, where I meat Penel (Penelope Malby) . We got married in 1996 and do not have children but we dog have lots of dogs! After college I did some postgraduate research then went into computing. I have worked for Dun and Bradstreet, Toyota, and a couple of small companies over the years. Have you considered making a contacts directory, by location and name. with email addresses and naming the geographical location of each member? it is a big job. You can post such a request and already you have plenty for a start. I would like to participate in any way you would like. I do not have a character auto count available. Probaby you have that at hand. How about this: will this be suitable? and within the count? Why so many family members join the popular Facebook and are interested to add total strangers to their lists while they have limitless existing “friends” with similar background in their own family. Most individuals in the modern world have limited family members and friends and they are geographically displaced with busy lives. The Uzaizat family members are blessed with natural limitless number of interesting "friends" from all over the world with different hobbies, backgrounds, experiences and educations. He was a strong leader with a temper specially when someone with less wisdom and knowledge wants to challenge or question his judgments, he was the only judge with the final word at his court!

[HOSEA 2:21] Christmas in the Middle East This is the season of love and peace to be celebrated all over the world in memory of the birth of our lord Jesus Christ. How much do you know about the Christians and Christmas in the Middle East? Unfortunately most of what we see in the media, concerning the Middle East, represents aggression and tragedies related to political feuds and the oil? I was born a Melkite Greek Catholic Christian, in Amman – Jordan. I come from a Bedouin tribe that lived in the desert for thousands of years, called AlUzaizat. My family were Christians when the Muslims arrived in Jordan in 629 AD. The Melkite is an Eastern Catholic Church in full communion with the Holy See in Rome, but at the same time, they have kept all the ethnic traditions of the area, in the style of their churches, as those of the Greek Orthodox Church. The Melkite traces their origin back to the Christians of Antioch, old Syria, to the 1st century AD.  Christianity has existed continuously throughout this region of the world since its conception. The famous Christians of Iraq and Great Syria (which included Jordan and Palestine named the Fertile Crescent) were the original inhabitants of this area for thousands of years. They are the Assyrians, Kaldinians, Greek Orthodox, Greek Catholics, Roman Catholics and the Latinos naming just a few. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate is the spiritual leader of the Eastern Orthodox Christians. Aya Yorgi (being the church of St George), is the main Greek Orthodox Cathedral, located in Istanbul, Turkey. Istanbul was Constantinople, which was the capital of the Byzantine Empire, up to 1453 AD. All the different sects of the Catholics in all the Middle East are in communion with Rome. In Egypt about 12% of the population are Christian Copts being the native Egyptians. Christianity was the main religion in Egypt in the 4th century. The Pope of the Coptic Oriental Orthodox Church resides in Alexandria, Egypt. There are about 16 million members worldwide, including more than 12 million in Egypt. This church split from the main stream of the Christian church after the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. In Lebanon there is the Maronite sect of the Eastern Catholic Church that makes about 50% of the population. The President of Lebanon, in accordance to their constitution, must be an elected Christian. The Maronite Patriarchs of Antioch (which is part of modern Turkey, was once part of Syria, located close to Antakya today). The Patriarch is always named Peter after the first Bishop of Antioch, Saint Peter, who was the leader of the apostles. The original Christians in the Middle East are not converts but were Christians before the Crusades and even before Christianity became popular in Europe. 
Christmas in baghdad, Iraq Christmas is publically celebrated all over the Middle East and not only in Bethlehem and Jerusalem. The celebrations can be seen in the form of Christmas trees, Santas, Carols and of course a lot of shopping. You would enjoy listening to Christmas Carols while strolling in the shopping centres if in Amman, Beirut, Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo, Dubai, Bahrain and Oman. Muslims do not celebrate Christmas, although, the Immaculate Conception is a dogma in Islam. They believe that Jesus is a Messenger of God and had risen soul and body to heaven. A very large section of the Quran tells the full life of Jesus, believing in all his miracles, including the story of the Virgin Mary. The name Jesus is mentioned in the Quran 25 times and that is more than the name of Mohamed. The Muslims do believe that Jesus would return back to earth, on the Day of Judgment, to restore justice in defeating the Anti Christ. The Muslims, Jews and Christians lived in these countries for thousands of years in harmony and as one people, shared the culture, history, food, and all aspects of their daily social lives. the Wisemen from the East Regretfully, at the moment, the Political instability in the Middle East is causing a lot of Christians to suffer and be ill treated in many parts of the area. This has been happening in Palestine, Egypt and in Iraq, since 2003 influenced by the new Islamic movements sweeping the area which are getting out of control. Many of the Christians have immigrated to the West and their percentage of the population in the Middle East has been diminished. I wish you a joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year Nael George Marar

لم يعرف التاريخ العربي والاسلامي ما يشبه الظواهر التكفيرية الحالية التي تهدد العرب والمسلمين اكثر مما تهدد الولايات المتحدة, بل ان هذه الظواهر ما كان لها ان تظهر من دون رعاية الاجهزة الامريكية التي بدأت بتوظيف اسلام سياسي مفبرك على مقاسها, من الحلف الاسلامي الذي اخترعته لمواجهة جمال عبدالناصر في منتصف الستينيات الى رعاية الثقافة التمزيقية في اوساط سنية وشيعية, على حد سواء, الى اعلان الجهاد (الاسلامي) السني ضد الاتحاد السو ييتي في افغانستان والشيشان حيث الصراع هناك على أشده حول خطوط النفط والغاز, الى تحريض (الأكراد) ضد المسيحيين العراقيين.
وبالمحصلة, فإن صورة الاسلام التكفيري, هي الصورة التي رسمها الغرب, عموما, والأمريكي خصوصاً للاساءة لصورة العرب والمسلمين عموماً, ولا يخفى بالتأكيد دور اليهودية العالمية في كل ذلك.
اما الصورة الحقيقية لبلادنا, فنموذجها الأقرب الينا, تحقيق الزميل حمد العثمان, حول مسجدين في مدينة مادبا: الأول, المسجد الذي ساهم في تشييده آل مرار المسيحيين, والثاني, المسجد الذي اطلق عليه المسلمون في تلك المدينة مسجد المسيح عيسى بن مريم.
أيضاً, فإن الذين تابعوا المسلسل السوري, اهل الراية, يتذكرون الصندوق المشترك في تلك الحارة من حارات الشام القديمة, والذي كان مخصصا لبناء الكنائس والمساجد معا ولتأمين القرآن الكريم والعهد الجديد أو الانجيل المسيحي لتلاميذ الكتاتيب في الحارة المذكورة.
ولمن لا يعرف, أيضاً, فإنه وبينما كان اهل الميدان المسلمين رباب توما المسيحيين في دمشق القرن التاسع عشر يؤسسون صندوقهم المشترك كانت الدوائر الاستعمارية البريطانية والفرنسية منهمكة في اشعال الفتن الطائفية هناك.0
