Thu 4/30/09 2:34 PM I have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, telecommunication and Electronics from Jordan University of Science and Technology (1998). In 2008, I completed my Executive MBA studies at Ecole Superieure des Affaires - Lebanon, and obtained the EMBA degree from ESCP-EAP, Paris as well. This is a joint program between ESA and ESCP - EAP. ESA is administered by Chambre de Commerce de Paris. I obtained this scholarship from the French Cultural Center, Amman. I studied German as well. In 2001, I obtained a one month scholarship from the Goethe Institut - Amman. I did Zentrale Mittlestufenpruefung at Prien am Chiemsee, Germany. I had done Zertifikat Deutsch at Goethe Institut Amman. Currently, I am Head of Research at Awraq Investments. Type of research: Financial, including valuations of companies listed on Amman stock exchange. Sectors covered: Telecom, industry, potash, energy, electricity, and more to come. The reports can be accessed online. I worked at Arab Advisors Group for four years as a telecom Consultant and Senior Research Analyst before that. I researched the telecom sector in Arab countries, and authored many reports on countries in MENA region. Prior to that, I worked at Eastern Networks and DYWIDAG Jordan. My EMBA thesis (Memoire) was in French language. I applied Event Study methodology to research acquisitions and financial operations of two Arab telecom operators: Zain and Orasocm. I obtained 19/20 in the written report, and 17/20 in the oral defense. I had obtained 97/100 in my Electrical Engineering thesis.
